garden weather
key
colored horizontal lines represents temperature response of plants.
vertical red line represent now, today.
hover on top of the timeline to see tooltips.
top numbers are hours 0-23
and below are date, day number in the month 1-31
depending on the plants, there could be timelines about:
-chances being alive.
-chances being dormant, cold dormancy.
-chances seed germinating.
-chances growing.
-chances blooming.
-chances doing fruits, seeds.
motivations
-sowing outdoor
'plant' and 'germinating' lines are useful to choose the day sowing.
-while acclimating seedlings or plants
'plant' and 'growing' lines are useful
so I can choose the time and timespan to move the plants in or out.
-around transplant time
'plant' and 'growing' lines, sometimes 'dormancy' lines are useful.
if choosing a time when the plant can withstand day and night temperatures,
with a few days of good chance growth,
plants could find easier recovering transplantation.
-the 'blooming' line can be useful to avoid bolting, as with salads or cabbage .
-the 'blooming' and 'ovo' lines can also be useful with greenhouse plants to regulate the greenhouse temperature, open or close windows.
also can be helpful for identifying if plant issues are temperature-related, or if nutrients deficiencies or other factors are involved.
location
the weather data, history and forecast is about the location where I live.
I could do a version of this app with other weather location, as long as in geographical europe.

sources
I started collecting info about plants with seedpacks I bought.
germination data was mostly found with seedpacks infos.
since, I also used other sources as:
-my garden observations
-blogs
-gardening websites
-sometimes pro farmers/growers websites
less often, I also looked:
-open sources software projects data -few, rare-
-sometimes -yet rare- research papers
I'm trying finding info with local continent origin. I'm in europe.
